Black SUV near the small Sanford airport terminal

Sanford Airport (SFB) car service to Disney, Universal and Port Canaveral

If your ticket says SFB, you are landing in Sanford, not at Orlando International. Here is how the two differ and how to get to your hotel by private SUV.

Sanford to Walt Disney World from $199 per vehicle, one way.

Sanford (SFB) and Orlando (MCO) are different airports

Sanford, code SFB, is a separate and smaller airport than Orlando International, code MCO.

Both have Orlando in the name, which is why so many people mix them up when buying a ticket. Sanford sits to the north, in another city, and it is a lot farther from the parks than MCO.

If you already booked and noticed your flight lands at SFB, no problem. Just plan the ride with more time and do not book a service set up for MCO.

Landing at MCO instead? See car service from Orlando International.

What changes between landing at SFB and MCO

SFB is smaller and calmer, but it has fewer flights and sits farther from the parks.

Which airlines fly into Sanford

The airline most tied to Sanford is Allegiant, which flies to cities across the United States.

According to the airport's own list, the airlines currently serving SFB are Allegiant, Arajet, BermudAir, Contour Airlines and Sun Country. Contour and Sun Country fly seasonally or as charters, and routes change from year to year, so check the airport code on your flight confirmation.

Arajet connects Sanford with the Dominican Republic, and BermudAir flies to Bermuda and Belize. If you are coming from elsewhere in Latin America, you will usually land at MCO or another large airport and connect. A direct flight to Sanford from outside the United States is uncommon.

Check your flight number before you leave home. It is the only thing that tells you for sure where you land.

We also serve Orlando Executive Airport (ORL)

Orlando Executive, code ORL, is about 3 miles east of downtown and is where most private flights arrive.

It is a general aviation airport for private jets, corporate aircraft and charter flights. Commercial airlines do not fly there, so if you travel by private plane or charter, you will probably land here rather than at MCO or Sanford.

We handle ORL arrivals and departures with the same black SUV and chauffeur service. Send us the date, time, your operator or FBO, and where you are going, and we quote the flat rate before you book.

When flying into MCO makes more sense than SFB

If your trip is built around the parks or a cruise, MCO usually saves road time.

A flight to Sanford can be cheaper or more convenient for you, and that is your call. Just add about an hour of driving to Disney, and a longer ride when the kids are tired.

If you have not bought yet, compare the cost of the flight with the extra time on the road. If you already have, that is fine, and we make the transfer simple.

For any route not in the table, such as Sanford to another point in the region, we quote the flat rate before you book.
